Happy New Year

Wow, it is January 10th already. I am very excited for this new year. Last year so full of many exciting and good things, like having a baby, getting to go on some fun trips, watching my beautiful baby grow. One might think that it would be hard to top such a fun year but I am confident it will be amazing. As Maddie grows so dose the fun we have with her.
She is now full out crawling, and getting faster, she has 4 teeth. Two big bottom teeth and 2 top teeth that just broke the surface. It is just to bad that cutting teeth has to be so painful.
Maddie can pull herself up to a standing position. We had to move her crib mattress down to a lower height so she could not get over it.
We had a wonderful Christmas, we were able to see most of our family.
This next year is sure to be amazing!

Trick-or-treat

I love Halloween. This year was one of my favorite Halloweens. Jeff and I went to a total of 3 Parties. Madelyn dressed as a Bumble-bee, Jeff was a gardener and I was a flower. Although Maddie only went to two houses (the grandmas) she loved it, she also loved watching as all the cute kids came to trick or treat, she loved to see them and their costumes. Can't wait till next year.



Don't think we forgot about Midas, he dressed up as a bumble bee too!

Park

Today was Madelyn's first time to play at the park! No big surprise that she loved it! Maddie loves to be outside, and when you add toys to the mix, you get one happy baby girl.
I am sad that soon it will be cold. She is becoming more and more mobile every day. I am sure that she and I will both be very ready when spring rolls around again.

Cookie!

Madelyn loves to eat. Any time she sees Jeff or I with food her eyes follow it. Watching closely as it moves from plate to mouth. If it comes within her reach she will try and snatch it. She still makes a big mess still with rice cereal, but soon it will be better and she will get to enjoy other foods like this cookie that she rolled over and over in her hand trying to figure out how to eat it.

The Boyce Family reunion was great. Tent camping for the first time with Maddie was a lot of fun. We all had a good time cooking, talking, playing games, hiking, and just hanging around the campfire.

Farm Girl

It's official, Maddie is going to be Daddy's helper on the farm. She had her first tractor ride July 1st. and she loved, she was looking all around trying to take it all in before she fell asleep. I can still remember riding around on the farm with my dad and falling asleep:) I think both Jeff and Maddie had a good time.

Third Post

Just had our first family vacation since maddie joined the family. Bear Lake was amazing, hot springs, caves, and a whole lot of Wii, dang rain! Madelyn is two months already, 12lbs and 23in. growing like a weed. Jeff and I grow deeper in love with her everyday. I am excited for summer and all the family fun yet to come!
